How do Teen and Hyangii Lines compare?

Both Hyangii Summer and Teen lines contain lighter, oil-regulating and pore-tightening ingredients. However, the Teen Line also contains ingredients that have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory qualities, a naturally-occurring sulfur compound and oils rich in linoleic acid which has been shown to be deficient in acne-prone skin.

The M2 serum in the teen line is made up of quickly absorbing “dry” oils that are high in linoleic fatty acids such has hemp seed and grape seed oils. Black cumin seed oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties and rosehip seed oil is antioxidant and rich in vitamin A. Essential oils used in this blend also have anti-microbial and oil-regulating properties. It comes in a smaller 15mL bottle since these oils are fragile and particularly prone to rancidity and a little goes a long way especially during the summer months.

Please note, the products in the teen line are ideal for persons with mild acne who want to improve the health of their skin barrier gradually. It is not likely to be effective in severe cases of acne.

Oh, and just in case you think you’re missing out on methylsulfonylmethane and rosehip seed oils, there’s no need to worry. It’s included in Hyangii Summer 2019 along with a whole bunch of other goodies.
